NeeDoh buying guide for parents (2026)
Checked October 18, 2026. Prices are Schylling's own list prices.
NeeDohs are squishy stress toys made by Schylling. Kids trade notes on which ones to get, and in 2026 some are hard to find. Here's what each popular one is, what it should cost, and how to buy smart.

Schylling lists about 59 NeeDoh items priced from $1.79 to $12.99, and nearly all are labeled for ages 3 and up (source). Store prices can differ a little, and stores sometimes limit how many each customer can buy.
What should you pay?
- Use the list price as your anchor. A Nice Cube lists at $5.99 (source). If someone wants $15, $25 or more, you're paying a reseller's markup.
- Resale prices get wild. The New York Post reported a $5 NeeDoh being resold for as much as $500 on eBay (source).
- A price far below list is a warning sign too. The CPSC says unusually low prices are one sign of counterfeit squishy toys (CPSC). See how to spot a fake.
Where to buy
Schylling's NeeDoh page sends shoppers to Target, Walmart, Schylling's own store on Amazon, and Schylling.com, and says real NeeDoh ships only through authorized retailers (Schylling). Its FAQ also points to local toy and gift stores (Schylling FAQ). On Amazon, check that the seller is Schylling or Amazon itself.

Picking one for your kid
- Little hands: the Nice Ice Baby is about an inch across, small enough to keep in a pocket. Labels still say ages 3 and up.
- The "it" toy: the Nice Cube and its swirl and color-change versions are the ones kids ask for most.
- Something different: Dream Drop (sparkly), Gumdrop (jelly) and Snow Ball Crunch (crunchy beads) each feel different.
- Big gift: the Nice Berg or Super NeeDoh.
Before you buy, read NeeDoh safety and care. Never heat, freeze or microwave a NeeDoh.
