Why are NeeDohs so hard to find?
Checked October 18, 2026.
If your kid's NeeDoh is sold out everywhere, you're not imagining it.
What Schylling says
Schylling's website says demand "is exceptionally high right now," and that it's pausing new orders on its own site with no date to resume (Schylling FAQ). Its NeeDoh page says it's sold out online with "new inventory on the way" (Schylling).
What's been reported
- Schylling's CEO told Business Insider the company had sold a year's worth of NeeDoh, according to the New York Post, which also reported resale prices as high as $500 (New York Post).
- New York Magazine's Strategist reported in April 2026 that new molds are needed to make more, that stock can be gone within an hour of hitting shelves, and that retailers' orders were being limited to spread supply around (The Strategist).
What that means for you
- Speed matters. Stock goes fast, so knowing first beats checking stores at random.
- Purchase limits are common. Ask, and share the limit when you report a find.
- Don't overpay. List prices are $1.79 to $12.99 (Schylling). See our buying guide.
- Watch for fakes. Shortages bring counterfeits. See how to spot a fake.
RestockPal exists for exactly this: parents near you report what's on the shelf, and you get a ping. How alerts work.
